PATIENT POLICIES DURING COVID-19

  • All patients should come alone to appointments unless a driver, a caregiver, or a parent for a minor is required. Please do not bring children or any other persons who are not actively involved in your care. Any drivers or other persons will be asked to remain in the car until their help is required.

  • Due to the increase in COVID cases, face coverings are strongly recommended (covering both mouth and nose).

  • Please practice social distancing whenever possible and be respectful of the space of other patients while in the office common areas.

  • Do not come to the office if you are experiencing cough, fever, or shortness of breath. If needed, you may schedule a visit via telemedicine or reschedule once your symptoms have resolved.

In2it Medical is committed to the health of our staff and patients

As we navigate through the changes that COVID-19 has presented to our community and healthcare, we at In2it Medical want to ensure that our staff and our patients remain protected and healthy.

We commit to respecting and protecting your health. We have always striven to provide a clean and safe environment for our patients. However, in effort to increase the peace of mind of our patients and prevent the spread of infection, we are taking our commitment to provide a safe environment even further.

In addition to the regular sanitization of our exam rooms between each patient, we will add the regular sanitization of common areas between patients.

Additionally, we will limit the number of people that are in the office at one time. Although we are already a small office with a small staff, we are making additional efforts to limit the number of patients and family members that are in the office at one time. We ask that our patients come to all visits alone unless a driver or caregiver is required. Patients should not bring children or any other persons who are not actively involved in their care to the office.

We are also taking additional steps to make sure that any patients or staff members who are experiencing symptoms or caring for person(s) experiencing symptoms do not come to the office. To help with the decision making of whether or not it is appropriate to come to the office, we have developed a Decision Tree that can be found below.

DECISION MAKING TREE

We have created a Decision Tree to help our patients determine whether or not they should keep scheduled appointments at the office. We have provided this information to all of our patients prior to their scheduled appointments. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, we ask that you call the office to reschedule your appointment.

Tele-Medicine

As part of our effort, we have implemented the use of Tele-Medicine office visits for those who prefer to or need to remain at home and would still like the option of visiting with our medical providers. Our Tele-Medicine option is offered through our patient app called MyCarePlan. This app is available on Apple and Android devices and is a great communication tool for our patients. You can download the app through the App Store or Google Play
